Jerger Wood Chess Clock - from the mid 60'sJerger Wood Chess Clock - from the mid 60's Another prime example of this fine German chess clock. This clock was the staple of the world championship circuit. My stars must be lining up because this one looks almost new out of the box. To get a Jerger this shape you usually have to buy it at an estate sale or something. This clock does have one small defect though. When I went to check the internals after I bought it I tried to tighten one of the screws holding on the back plate a little too much. I could fix it and no one would tell the difference, but what the heck...this will be a deal of the century! If I did fit it, this clock would sell in the $250 range. |
