Black Walnut Chess Board with Carribean Rosewood 2.25" squares
Solid wood 2 sided chess board. 2 playing surfaces! Oh Momma! This is our first experiment with the Carribean Rosewood also known as Chetchen. Man, that wood is hard to deal with. But when you look at the end product this is an awesome chess board. The squares may be slightly off, but this is an eye catching board. When the Black Cherry frame ages some more this will be a wooden chess board anyone would love to have in their den. To help visualize everything, I added a couple of pics with our Fleur de Lis Rosewood chess set. It is a perfect compliment to the board and you can add it for an extra $65 more! If this board was drop dead perfect I would be asking $600 for it. But since it has some minor flaws on it the first customer with $249.95 can take it home. | |
